Wholesale SIP trunking

Carrier-grade SIP trunking for ITSPs, MVNOs and enterprises.

Direct SIP interconnects with Tier-1 partners, elastic channel capacity, SRTP and TLS encryption, and per-second billing across 120+ countries — under one wholesale agreement.

Direct SIP interconnects

IP-to-IP peering with Tier-1 carriers on redundant SBCs. IP ACL or SIP digest auth, TLS 1.2+ and SRTP where required.

Elastic channel capacity

Committed plus burstable channels so campaigns and seasonal spikes do not drop calls. Scale within minutes through the NOC.

Global A-Z termination

CLI and non-CLI routes across 120+ countries with premium and standard quality tiers on the same trunk.

Codec flexibility

G.711 (µ-law / A-law), G.729 and Opus with transcoding on our SBCs. DTMF RFC 2833 and SIP INFO pass-through.

Fraud & abuse controls

Real-time destination allow/deny lists, spend caps, geo-fencing and 24/7 monitoring against IRSF and traffic pumping.

24/7 carrier NOC

Direct escalation to engineers. Route swaps, PDD/ASR investigations and CDR pulls handled in minutes, not tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is wholesale SIP trunking?

Wholesale SIP trunking is a carrier-grade SIP interconnect that lets ITSPs, MVNOs, contact centers and enterprises send and receive high volumes of voice traffic over IP. AstraQom Wholesale delivers it through direct interconnects with Tier-1 partners, with elastic channel capacity and per-second billing.

How is a SIP trunk provisioned?

You are assigned SIP endpoints with IP ACL or SIP digest authentication, TLS 1.2+ and SRTP where required. Codec negotiation supports G.711, G.729 and Opus. Rate decks, DIDs and CDRs are managed from the carrier portal or via API.

Do you support elastic (burstable) channel capacity?

Yes. Trunks are provisioned with a committed channel count and burstable capacity so seasonal or campaign spikes do not drop calls. Capacity can be scaled up within minutes through the NOC.

What quality targets do you commit to?

Premium routes target ASR above 45%, ACD above 90 seconds and PDD under 3 seconds. Standard high-volume routes are optimised for cost while maintaining CLI integrity and DTMF pass-through.

Can I bring my own DIDs, or buy origination on the same trunk?

Both. You can port existing numbers or provision new local, national, mobile and toll-free DIDs in 70+ countries and terminate them on the same SIP trunk, on a single commercial agreement.
